AS GOLF SEASON ENDS IN VIKING PLANNING BEGINS

   The Viking Golf and Country Club 2015 summer season has come to an end but already planning is underway for next year.

    The Club closed for the season on Oct. 25.  Weather permitting,  April 15, 2016 has been set for the opening of next year’s season.  

    A spokesperson for the club, Joyce Winczura, said there were 128 members this year including all adult, family, junior, and senior members. 

    “We saw a huge increase in our junior memberships.  The junior program is very active.  Each of our Groups (ladies’, men’s, seniors’, juniors’) have a designated day and time every week to play golf.  These groups are open to members and non members.”
