Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

On Sept. 12 police responded to a single vehicle collision in Viking involving a motorcycle.

  The driver advised she lost control of her bike when she hit a pot hole in the street and laid it on its’ side.  She was taken to Viking Health Centre where she was treated for minor injuries and released.

    On Sept. 13 police received a complaint regarding the mistreatment of a dog.  Police contacted the SPCA for follow up on this matter.

    Later that day, police received a complaint of an abandoned vehicle at a rural location.  Police made contact with the registered owner who advised he had been out hunting and the vehicle had been removed.
