On Friday and Saturday, Jan. 27 and 28, Beaver County Family Literacy held Family Literacy Day Events called  “Journey to Learning.”

Several communities participated in the event, but for Holden, this was a notable first.

In Holden the event took place on Jan. 28 at the local library.

Annette Hrabec and her staff were a great help in making the day successful.

As children arrived, they were greeted with a smile and a stamp on their passports by facilitator Tracey Radley.
