The move of the Viking Town office from its former location at the Civic Centre, 4920-53 Ave., to the Viking Carena Complex is now complete.

While at this time a finalized cost is unavailable, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Jackie Fenton said the cost would be discussed at future Council meetings.

The Carena meeting room will be used for the Council meetings starting in September, though it is still available for outside bookings if interested parties contact the Town office, said CAO Fenton.

“For the time being we will be advertising the Town office at the Carena on the electronic sign. Residents should watch the sign for information updates for the community and town office. We are researching sign ideas and costs.”
