GENEROUS DONATIONS FILL SHELVES

    Viking and area residents have come together and generously worked as one to fill the local food bank shelves.

    Viking Food Bank spokesperson Darren Anderson said after letting people know that the Food Bank was right out of food, he was overwhelmed by the response.

    “The community stepped up and filled the shelves beyond capacity. 

For almost all food categories, we have enough items to keep hampers filled. The few categories where there is still a need, money has come in to purchase items.
