    Viking/Beaver FCSS, the Town of Viking and Volunteer Alberta hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Barbecue lunch on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Viking Carena.

    The event was well-attended with approximately 50 people. Prizes of hanging flower baskets, gift cards, and apparel were handed out.

    Volunteers were thanked by Deputy Mayor, Rod Hunter, the Viking/Beaver FCSS Director, Tracey Radley and Town CAO, Jackie Fenton. 

    The Viking/Beaver FCSS Community Programmer, Trudy Graff, Town of Viking Recreation Coordinator, Amber Hennig, Town of Viking Public Works, Kevin O’Neill and Councillor Judy Acres all pitched in to make the barbecue a success.
