BUTTERFLY WINGS N’ WISHES PROVES VERY ENTERTAINING

centipede kids

Butterfly Wings n’ Wishes brought an assortment of arthropods such as native millipedes, centipedes and flying insects, as well as exotics like tarantulas, scorpions, hissing cockroaches and many more to the Viking Municipal Library on Thursday, Jan. 22.

The founder of the company, Gloria Brons, defeated her own fear of spiders by encouraged her children to be curious and not fearful, and they grew up without the phobias that had affected her own childhood.

Through her company she now provides specialized educational programs appropriate for any age with a focus on Alberta Wildlife, and with live animals brought to the classroom for a hands on, up close learning experience.
