Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report
On Oct. 6, police received a complaint of a theft of licence plate.
Checks of the licence plate determined that Edmonton Police Service had done a query on it a couple days prior to it being reported stolen. The investigation into this matter is continuing.
That afternoon, police were advised of a theft of diesel from farm equipment. Police attended and investigated the matter. A suspect has not been identified.

On Oct. 8, police responded to a single vehicle collision involving a moose on Highway 14, east of Viking.
The occupants did not sustain any injuries and police are continuing to complete their investigation of this collision.
