Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report – strange incidents in Bruce

On June 9, police received a complaint of a break and enter at a business in Bruce. 
 
    An employee attended the business early in the morning and found the door had been pried open and entry gained.  The investigation into this crime is continuing.

    During the early morning hours on June 10, police received a complaint of a suspicious incident in Bruce. 

    The complainant advised he heard a truck door slamming, looked out his window and saw a black truck speeding away.

    He went out and checked his property and found the back door of his selfcontained  trailer was open but nothing appeared to be missing. The suspect vehicle was not located.

    That night, police responded to a complaint of an intoxicated male causing a disturbance at a local hotel. Police attended the room of the male in question and found it had been damaged. The male was placed under arrest and transported to Vegreville Detachment where he was lodged until sober.  Queries on the subject showed he was currently on conditions to abstain from alcohol from a previous incident so he is has been charged with Failing to Comply with an Undertaking and Mischief.
