Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

On April 23, police received a complaint of a theft of gas from a local gas station. 

    The gas attendant was able to supply a license plate number so the registered owner was contacted. 

    After speaking with both involved parties, it was determined to be an error where the driver paid the wrong bill and no actual theft had occurred.

    On April 24, police were advised of a theft that had occurred from a storage facility.  Police are continuing their investigation.

    Later that morning, police received a complaint of mischief that had occurred at a rural property near Viking. The complainant advised unknown subjects had smashed out windows in several old vehicles and a house.
