Word on the street – Viking RCMP report
On March 10th, police received a report of a hit and run collision. Police are continuing to follow up on this complaint.

On March 11th, police were advised of a possible fraud that had occurred.
The complainant ad-vised he had purchased concert tickets from an unknown source over the internet and has yet to receive the tickets. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.

That evening, police stopped a vehicle for speeding and determined the driver had outstanding warrants out of Calgary.
He was arrested and later released and will be appearing in Calgary Provincial Court in April… For more see the March 18/14 issue of the Viking Weekly Review
