100th day of school at Viking School

Every year students at Viking School find unique ways to mark the 100th day of school.

On Feb. 14, the students celebrated both Valentine’s Day and the 100th day of school.

Members of Mrs. Leann Ogrodnick’s Grade 1 class  were among the students celebrating the event.

Students coloured crowns and strung 100 Froot Loops on string to create a special 100-day necklace. Playing with numbers corresponded with the students’ math lesson, as the class is learning how to count by fives.
