Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report
On January 20th, police received a complaint of mischief from an employee of Alberta Transportation.
The complainant ad-vised someone had damaged the overhead lights at the intersection of Highways 14 and 36.
Police will be following up on this complaint.

On January 22nd, police made an arrest in relation to a break and enter that had occurred the previous week.
A female suspect was taken into custody and charges are pending.

On January 23rd, a citizen attended the detachment to report she was receiving threatening text messages from an acquaintance. The investigation into this matter is continuing.
