Donation brings food cart to centre

The Viking Health Centre has received a new addition to its kitchen to better serve food and beverages to patients.

    The Viking Health Care Auxiliary donated $5,000 to the Viking Health Care Centre which was used to purchase a Burlodge Minigen 1 Food Cart.

    This new portable food cart keeps food and beverages hot or cold, allowing Food Services staff the freedom to bring these items directly to the rooms of patients.

    The cart has only been in use for two weeks but is already getting positive feedback from both patients and staff….
