Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

On January 13th, police were called to a business regarding a shoplifting complaint.

When police arrived on scene, the suspect had departed but staff had been able to retrieve the property and identify the suspect.  Charges are pending.

    On January 14th, police received a complaint of a break and enter at a business at a rural location.

    The complainant ad-vised the suspect(s) had entered the business and stole only documents and banking information.   The investigation into this crime is continuing.

    On January 15th, police responded to a single vehicle rollover southwest of Viking on Highway 26. 

    Excessive wind and poor road conditions were both factors in this collision. Fortunately the driver did not sustain any injuries.
