Local RCMP part of impaired enforcement blitz

If you were driving Highway 36 near Highway 26 this past Friday, you were likely stopped by local RCMP.

The RCMP made impaired driving enforcement. . . a national priority and will be stepping up enforcement efforts across the county with the aim of stopping impaired drivers.

As part of the Dec. 7  blitz which started the cross country program and despite the bitterly cold temperatures, Viking RCMP took part in the weekend traffic check stop.

RCMP remind everyone that impaired driving is an entirely preventable cause of death and injuries which has immense costs and devastating effects on communities.
