Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

On December 10th, police received a complaint of a suspicious person at a rural location. 

    The complainant reported a male attended her door advising his vehicle had broken down.  The male was then noted to wander around the yard and enter a garage.

The complainant’s husband returned home and assisted the male with vehicle repairs and sent him on his way.

    On December 12th, a CN employee reported he had witnessed a vehicle cross the railway tracks while the crossing arms were down and a train was approaching.  He was able to provide a license plate number and police will be following up with the registered owner.
