Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report – skulker spotted in Viking

On Sept. 3rd, police received a complaint of a suspicious male sneaking around a residence in Viking.

The complainant advised the male was looking into the windows of the residence and then left the area.  Police believe they have identified the male and the investigation into this matter is continuing.

    On Sept. 4th, a citizen attended the detachment to report he was having ongoing issues with his neighbours.  All parties were spoken to and it was determined there was no further need for police involvement at this time.

    That night, police received a traffic complaint involving a hydro-vac truck with an open valve that was draining an unknown liquid on the roadway as it proceeded westbound on Highway 14.  The information was passed on to Tofield RCMP as well but the suspect vehicle was not located.
