COUNTY GRADER SHED to be built in Viking/Beaver Business Park

Beaver County will build a new grader shed in the Viking/Beaver Business Park located in the south east corner of Viking.

At the regular meeting of council on Monday, August 19, Viking Town Council approved the sale of an estimated 2.5 acre parcel to the County.

In a letter to council the Chief Administrative Officer for Beaver County Bob Beck,  said that since the property is jointly owned by the County and the Town, Beaver County would like to pay the town a total of $62,500 for the site which would then be put in the County’s name.

(The cost would be $50,000 per acre which would see the County pay half as a joint owner.)
