Local Jr. Golfer competes in world championships

Four year old David Hopkins, son of Hoppies Hopkins and Dr. Marna Hagen, is an avid golfer who recently enjoyed an experience of a lifetime. Hopkins competed in the Callaway Junior World Championships in the Six and Under Division and came in 26th place overall. He and his parents traveled to San Diego where he competed against kids from all over the world who had earned the chance to compete after playing in qualification rounds.
