Word on the street: Viking RCMP report

On July 29 a 911 call was received regarding a possibly suicidal male.

The complainant and the male are recently separated and the male was indicating that he was going to harm himself.  The male was located and he stated that he was not going to harm himself, however, he requested that his ex-commonlaw be spoken to regarding constantly texting him.  Both parties were spoken to and advised not to contact one another.

On July 30 a report of a found bicycle was made.

The bicycle was examined and a company sticker was located on the bicycle.  Contact was made with the company and an owner was determined.  The owner is to be contacted and ad-vised of the found bicycle.

That same day a report of a theft of vehicle batteries was received.  The complainant advised that someone had stolen two batteries from a locked compound.  The investigation into this matter is continuing.
