Rain didn’t dampen the spirits of those celebrating 100th Bruce Stampede

Unsettled weather did not dampen spirits at the Bruce Stampede this past weekend.

Stampede President Rob Chomik, said although the weather was colder than previous years, the attendance was “excellent”.

Saturday’s rain showers did not force the cancellation of the performance and spectators were treated to a great rodeo.

The annual parade on Sunday was well attended and organizers believe there was a near-record attendance. Planning for next year’s event has already started and Chomik says hopefully everyone will return for the 101st Bruce Stampede.
