WORD ON THE STREET: Viking RCMP report

On June 17, police received a complaint of mischief to a vehicle.

The complainant advised unknown persons had “keyed” his truck overnight while parked in his driveway. Police attended but neighbourhood inquiries failed to provide any witnesses or evidence.

That afternoon, police assisted staff of a senior’s home in dealing with a resident who had walked away from the facility and was refusing to return.

The subject was eventually taken to the Viking Health Center where he was admitted for assessment and turned over to a legal guardian.
