On Nov. 28, police were informed of a break and enter to a residence in Bruce.

The residence is currently uninhabited but when the caretaker attended to check on the property, she found entry had been gained and property was missing.  The investigation into this matter is continuing.

  That afternoon, police received a call from a citizen who had concerns with the driving habits of an elderly gentleman. 

The caller advised he believed the male should no longer be driving due to his age and mental capacity.  Police will be following up with his doctor and the Motor Vehicle Branch.

    During the early morning hours on Nov. 29 , police received a complaint of approximately 20 horses loose on Highway 26 southwest of Viking. 

A patrol was made and the owner of the horses was located and they were returned to their pasture.
