Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

   On May 27, police received a report of a single vehicle collision on Highway 14 east of Viking. 

    The complainant advised a vehicle had struck a deer causing the airbags to deploy, injuring a passenger in the vehicle who had been travelling with his feet on the dash.  The passenger was transported to the Wainwright Health Center where he was treated for his injuries.

    On May 30, police received a complaint of an intoxicated female who was refusing to leave a residence.  Police attended and escorted the female out of the residence without further incident.   She was warned that charges would be laid if she returned.

    Later that evening, police were advised of a vehicle stunting on the streets in Kinsella. 

    The complainant ad-vised the suspect vehicle, a black, Ford truck, was now parked at a residence in the community.   The investigation into this matter is continuing.
