Word on the street: Viking RCMP report
On April 16th, police received a complaint of a subject hunting out of a vehicle north of Viking.
The caller advised she witnessed a dark grey Dodge pickup pull into an approach and then the male driver leaned out of the window and appeared to be shooting at coyotes with a bow and arrow.
Police made a patrol to the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
On April 17th, police were contacted by an automobile rental company regarding one of their vehicles that had not been returned as per the contract.
The company advised it had been unable to make contact with the renter using the phone number that had been provided.
