Viking Bull Bash fun for all

It was the bulls who came out the victors at the second annual Viking Bull Bash.

On April 12, 30 riders from Canada, USA, Mexico and Australia all took turns strapping themselves to the beasts in an attempt to ride the full eight seconds.

Onel Potgieter started the event by singing the national anthem and right after the Canada flag left the arena floor, the action heated up in the Carena Complex.

The long-go round gave all the riders a chance to score  high enough  to advance to the short-go round.

With an extra bull in the pen, St. Albert’s Kyle Primeau, accepted the offer of a second ride resulting in a short-go round finish.
