Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

On April 8th, police received a complaint of an erratic driver eastbound on Highway 14.

The complainant advised he was following a semi-tractor unit that was veering in and out of its driving lane.

A patrol was made and the vehicle in question was located and stopped. The driver showed no signs of impairment and advised he had been eating his lunch while driving.

He was issued a written warning as the complainant did not wish to provide a statement or attend court.

That afternoon, police received another complaint of an erratic driver eastbound on Highway 14.
