Word on the Street: Viking RCMP report

On March 11th, police were called to assist with a possible fire at a local hotel.

When police arrived at the location, the building had been evacuated and the Viking Fire Department  was on scene and had the fire under control.

It is believed the fire was caused by an appliance overheating and no further police investigation was necessary.
