Child care opinions voiced in Viking over concerns of lack of availability

Earlier this month ten parents attended a meeting to discuss the availability of child care in Viking and voiced concern about the lack of availability in the area.

Marlene Levitt, Early Learning and Child Care Consultant for Region 5 East Central Child and Family Services Authority was in attendance and provided information about setting up and running a day care facility, as this was one of the options being discussed  by the group.

Levitt discussed the requirements for a day care facility and the staffing that would be required to operate it.
