Word on the Street: From the Viking RCMP

  On December 18th, police received a complaint of a hit and run collision that had just occurred. 

    The complainant ad-vised a car had run into the back of his tanker truck and then drove away.  Police were able to identify and locate the other driver involved and she was issued a violation ticket for Section 38(a) UHRRR.

    On December 19th, a subject attended the detachment regarding what he believed to be threatening emails he had received from a family member.  The subject did not want any follow up but wanted the information noted on file in the event of further problems.

    On December 20th, police were advised of a collision that occurred on Highway 14 when an eastbound vehicle made a left hand turn unsafely in front of a westbound vehicle, causing them to collide. 

    Fortunately there were no injuries but the driver of the eastbound vehicle was issued a violation ticket for Section 34(2) UHRRR.
