In spite of the cold weather, the Village of Irma was bustling with activity as the village held its annual Irma Santa Daze on Dec. 8.

The early morning snow and wind made roads icy in sections which caused more than one vehicle to find the ditches but it didn’t stop people from venturing out for the event.

The day started out with craft and bake sale at the Horizon Center on main street.

The center also offered a soup and sandwich lunch which was hosted by the Irma United Church.
