The Beaver County Fire department responded to a call on Thursday, Nov. 29, when a semi pulling a trailer load of cattle failed to make a turn on to Highway 14 from Range Road 130.

It appeared that the driver turned to sharp thus causing the trailer to enter into the ditch. Although the unit did not tip on to its side, the trailer sat partially in the ditch at a steep angle.

A farm tractor was called in to assist with holding the truck up-right until it could be unloaded.

Viking Auction Market was called to provide an second trailer unit to help with unloading the cattle from the tipping trailer.

Dave Zayonce Re-gional Fire Chief-Regional Director of Emergency Management for Beaver County said fire crews responded to the call at about 4:45 p.m. and assisted with traffic control and the truck was unloaded and back on its wheels on the highway by approximately 9 p.m.
