The Eastern Alberta Trade Corridor as an economic driver was the theme of the The Battle River Alliance for Economic Development (BRAED) when the group met in Viking Thursday, Nov.15.

The BRAED website describes the organization as a group of 30 communities and two affiliate members in east-central Alberta that work cooperatively and voluntarily to address community economic development issues from a regional perspective.

It says its mission it to enhance regional economic development opportunities in the Battle River Region.
