On Oct. 29, police responded to a complaint of a single vehicle collision southwest of Viking.

A pickup pulling a horse trailer veered off the road, causing the trailer to roll.  Three horses were trapped inside so a vet was called out to the scene.

The horses were sedated and then extricated from the trailer.  Road conditions are believed to have been a contributing factor to this collision.

That same day, police also received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle driving around the parking lot of a business in a rural setting.  The business owner was on scene and spoke with the driver of the vehicle who then left without further incident.
